Hi
I am looking at
developing a pid type controller, at start as a pc input output, and
when code is optimised as a standalone.
This is for a sousvide
controller using either i2c / ds18b20 temperature input and ssr output

(I will also use it for brewing mash control, and possibly a time
tmperature central heatng system too!)To this end i will need to record
temp data to tune my alogorithms
Is the ARM Cortex-M3 STM32f103ret6 Module suitable?

Are there any help available?
I program in c++ but am an idiot as far
as hardware goes!

I’ve used both and decided SMF was better by a country mile. It was easier to set up and the moderator etc control panels work better IMO.

Thank you for your message. We still don’t have a Mac to test it on yet. The code for the IDE is quite portable so getting it working on other platform should not be a problem as long as we can get a hold of such system to test it. We hope we can get a hold of a Mac soon!.

is there any way to obtain a copy of your ide , maybe as a reward for a paypal donation? I have exactly the same board you are using from old project laying around and i’d be really curious to see its perfromance under Xduino IDE.
